In fact, a bit higher priced with not that huge portions, but very good food, friendly service, a beautiful location and a pleasant atmosphere. We would be happy to come again. Maybe there will be a second (delicious) dumpling extra.

Very nice beer garden in a quiet atmosphere. Suitable for guests with a dog. There are also parking spaces for drivers. The kitchen is very good.

I was in July 20 as part of a longer hiking and cycling holiday with 12 different hotels for one night in the idyllic Bischofsmühle. The staff was friendly. The older gentleman in the service is rather of the quiet type, but not unfriendly because of that. A corona hygiene concept was only available at breakfast, and this partially convinced me. The majority of the dishes were brought to the table after an oral order. Juices, butter, jams etc. were taken from the buffet without any hygiene rules. In the rest of the hotel and in the hallways and stairwells, no concept or one-way street system was recognizable. Comparisons to the other 11 hotels, some with significantly worse concepts, can be found in my other reviews. The hotel room was okay, the bathroom was big enough. The food in the restaurant was tasty, but the amount was tight. I and my hikers have remembered the non-tasting beer and the small selection of it. Fortunately there's more than beer 

Great kitchen, a wonderful location to celebrate, a really nice team that really tries to read every wish from the eyes of the guest, that's my Upper Franconia as I would like to show every visitor. Here we cook with heart and soul, and the guest is simply king. Anyone who has been here once will always come back.

Idyllically situated. Excellent cuisine, unfortunately this time it's a day off

It is simply a wonderful place to really unwind. Drinks and dishes are put together in an interesting way and you can always find something delicious! Hopefully the restaurant will survive the current dry spell! 4 weeks later it seems like you can master the crisis! We are very happy, because the calm and the ambience are unique!

Friendly landlady, idyllically located. Food was good. And pleasant, no cell phone reception. If you want to really relax, you are in good hands here.

It's a nice place

A beautiful climate place with nature at your fingertips! I arrived at the hotel at night after booking. The owner was waiting for me behind the bar :-) Cold beer tasted like never before! For some, the lack of mobile phone coverage can be embarrassing, but it saves Wifi as long as we know the password, and this can be a problem at night. Could use this information in the rooms. Payment is only in cash! The hotel staff was very kind. Rooms clean and equipped with everything needed. I will probably go back there again.

Super Location. Excellent food and good prices. Have celebrated our wedding here. There is nothing to criticize. The boss and the staff are a dream. Will always come here again.
